Immortality a Boon or Curse
Despite living on this earth for over a period of more than 50 odd years, humans still think their lifespan is less. Their desire for spending more time on this planet hasn't decreased a bit. This intense craving for more time increases as they grow and older. Some of them might show a different behaviour but the majority of the human race is trapped in this nuisance thought. The idea of 'Immortality" in itself seems very warm, because if that would have been the case, then the pace of everything would have fallen short as compared to the present scenario. So come on in with me, and let's dive deep this story of what would be the life and living standards of a person who was given a long life to be spent.
So a little preface of this story is a little weird. The life span is just increased on a scale of 100 to 1000.
eg:- if someone lives a normal life of 60 years, then longer life span would be of 600 years.
[Note:- Regardless of the title this scenario is kept to 1000 years because writing about never-ending immortal life would be impossible.]
Cases: The man lives a longer life, but everyone else is living a normal life.
- Normal life = 60 - 80 years lifespan
- Longer life = 600 - 800 years lifespan
The normal life with a small-time given on this earth seems to be a curse for many of us. We want to live more. But the problem lies in the perspective because initially, we are so trapped in making our career that we stop living or it could be anything just snatching away our time. So time is not less but we are so delusional that we take it for granted in the sake of some career bullshit or the drama which gets us blind-folded till we hit the old age.
Okay then, leave it. We are here to discuss, what could have been our journey and how beautiful will be our experiences if we were gifted with a long life. Here we'll be understanding of how a person with a longer life span feels because it's almost certain that the task which we perform or the actions that we take are mainly satisfaction oriented.
So the difference starts here, when our friends started to grow old we still be in our mid-twenties. It would be a relaxing sign as we have a long way to go. No matter how wrong we were in our career decision, we can re-correct it. As the physique of a 25-year-old allows us to be proactive in each and every task. But after some time what we'll see is that our friend's time comes to an end on this earth while we still look like a college graduate in the late 30's.
So we might find ourself in a deep dilemma because on one hand, we'll be celebrating and utilising the 70 odd years experience in life for our career and that'll be very much satisfying but on other hand, all our friends will be leaving for a train to heaven. This can become a very disturbing time as well because after some time there would be no one to address us. We might have achieved a lot in these years, but ultimately we'll become lonely because now our kids are also going to leave us at some point in time. But we are still doing great in our life as we'll be having a good business empire and a lot of money flowing in our bank account. But certainly, money won't be a big deal after some time.
This money, fame and this long life will come out to be a curse because firstly friends, wife, then our children and then our grandchildren, everyone will leave us and there will be nobody to whom which we can share our so-called success. But still, some of the kids our grandchildren will still be in our touch but after 50 odd years, there will be a generation lapse, because you have already lived a life of more than 150 years. You might become a billionaire but "A Billionaire without feelings", "A Billionaire without a family". The humans are subjected to be involved in many of the things, one of them is living together because we are humans and we need other humans as well because no matter what we do, we need people around us to whom we can share and I think that's the concept of a family rather than just increasing the population on the planet.
Lived 200 years.
Lived 400 years.
Approaching 600 years and feeling great because we are about to die and death comes as a relief from this fake materialistic world.

Conclusion:
Whoever has gone through this wonderful thought process so far, I hereby request you to please pause your life for a day or two and analyse what you're doing right now is worthy of your time or not. Because as we know, time is limited so why to waste it on some useless shit. We don't get 600 years to make mistakes and learn from them. We must understand our cause for living because you must have to have a direction, or you shouldn't blame anyone else for your 70 years on this earth as a piece of crab, because you were the one who got so busy that you forgot to analyse your doings and fall prey to this vicious unending cycle.
